Surprisingly common, it results in an overall thinning over the scalp and research suggests that it affects around 15% of women before the age of 50.

Clients can wash, dry and style their hair as normal as well as undertake the sorts of activities that are severely limited with the use of a wig - swimming for instance, or going out on a windy day.
