About Us

Not really traditional hairdressers and not really traditional hair extensionists, we're a bunch of misfits drawn together by a single mission.

To do what can't be done - create beautiful hair, one head at a time, even for those who have very little.

And to do it cleanly, ethically and responsibly.

Established in 2001 by a couple of "best mates" - Mark Sharp and Glenn Kinsey - we first opened our doors in London's New Bond Street with zero clients but a compelling idea.

In the first week, no-one came.

In the second week, no-one came.

In the third week our bank manager came.

But our first client told her friends. Who told her friends. We gradually got bigger by getting better, one client at a time.

Slowly but surely, word spread. So much so that in 2005 we moved to a home ten times the size, in Mayfair's famous Mount Street.

And then, in 2014, we tripled capacity again with our move to a new custom-designed studio in London's Kensington Gardens.

No-one seems to do things in quite the same way we do. Which is why everyone that joins us starts at the bottom and is trained in-house. And it's why clients visit us from all over the world.

We get a lot of interesting people through our doors. We treat all VIP's like ordinary people and all ordinary people like VIP's.

For many, we're their best kept secret.

We're not perfect but we keep trying to be. Almost all our work still comes via word of mouth recommendation.

And our first client is still with us and still telling her friends.

Our first location was in Lancashire Court on London's New Bond Street, opening in 2001. With nothing but a compelling idea, word spread and clients soon came. Within 12 months we had a long waiting list.

2005 saw us move to Mayfair's exclusive Mount Street sitting alongside the likes of Scotts Restaurant, The Connaught and Christian Louboutin. Clients continued to come from all over the world to take advantage of our fibre hair extensions and Kinsey System for female hair loss.
